Its going to be a Long Week

I have the lucky privilege of staying home each week with my two year old Matthew. I absolutely love that my husband is so supportive of traditional values of the mother keeping the home and nurturing the children. I find that I often beat myself up for not helping provide for our family financially. However, I know I provide for our family best in our home. There are definitely days I struggle to stay home but, ultimately my days are filled. In our home we do crafts, snacks, messes, the outdoors, and very little television.
Matthew is a busy boy with a very imaginative mind. He likes to be kept busy and use his creativity. He loves problem solving and figuring things out on his own. I often plan activities for the week while he is either napping or down for bed. This week though, is going to be one of those very long weeks and yes, it is only Monday. When my husband Curtis came home on Friday he pre-warned me of his upcoming week.
He will be leaving early every morning and will be arriving home as Matthew is winding down for bed. Normally this wouldn't be that big of deal but, at 30 weeks pregnant I am pretty much running on empty daily. I will be in charge of all the household duties (normal, however Curtis has really been helping out so I can rest), dinners, bathes, the dog, and  keeping everything else running smoothly. It will be a mommy and Matthew show. I am feeling a bit overwhelmed with the lurking days ahead. Curtis helped catch up on laundry and dishes yesterday so hopefully I can just keep on top of everything.
Nap time today will be activity planning! Can't wait to brainstorm some super fun fall activities and crafts to do with Matthew.
Comment if you have any ideas!
